Having previously run his own agency, he now combines entrepreneurial thinking with the strength and reach of Bayleys, adapting quickly to market shifts and using smart, targeted digital marketing to give every property maximum exposure. His background across advertising, finance, tourism, and film means he doesn’t just list homes — he tells their story in a way that connects emotionally with buyers and drives strong competition. Alongside Darren is Tracey Mercer, with over three decades of executive support experience across marketing, administration, and IT ensures every detail behind the scenes runs seamlessly. Tracey is the steady hand that keeps everything moving — making sure communication is clear, deadlines are met, and clients always feel informed and supported. Known for her calm nature, efficiency, and proactive mindset, she anticipates what needs to happen before it’s even asked, creating a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish.

Rounding out the team, Nathalie Visser brings a unique perspective to the Bayleys | Perry & Co team, combining over three decades of experience across the public and private property investment sectors. Her background in property management has given her a strong understanding of the full property journey, from ownership and tenancy through to long-term value and performance.

Having called Waihi home for over 15 years, Nathalie has a strong connection to the local community and a genuine understanding of the area. She values the lifestyle the region offers and enjoys helping others discover the opportunities it presents.
